All are welcome to our classes! We're all trained to modify poses when needed or assist you in going deeper into your practice, so all are welcome to most classes.  If you're unsure which class might be best for you, contact us.

All Levels Yoga: We'll explore breath and movement in this class suitable for Yogis of all levels. We'll build on the basics while providing a challenge for those wishing to go deeper in their practice. Emphasis will be on basic strength-building, core strength, and connecting with your body, your experience, moment by moment.

Candlelight Yoga:  
Candlelight Yoga is an all levels class.  We'll practice a full range of yoga postures to increase flexibility and strength, and breathing and meditation techniques to balance and calm the mind and reduce stress. Practice at your own level. This class is suitable for everyone. This is a donation class; suggested donation $10-15.

Chen Style Tai Chi:
The first class will be a brief intro to Chen style Tai Chi providing an overview of the style. We'll practice basic movements together, and learn the first two moves of the form. Depending on interest, there will be 8 weekly sessions, 1 hour each. Those who attend all 8, will learn the first quarter of the form.  George Adler learned Chen-style Tai Chi in the 1980s in Ann Arbor, Michigan from the Taoist Tai Chi master Lee Tang-Kok. Lee lives in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.  George has continued practicing, studying, and teaching Chen style off and on for the past 30 years.

Easy Tai ChiFor hundreds of years the movements of Tai Chi have offered a proven way for everyone to exercise mind and body, relieve stress, improve circulation and balance, reduce hypertension and slow the aging process. Classes will include soft impact exercises to improve balance, breathing and flexibility all the while offering fun and enjoyment while learning Tai Chi forms that are designed to augment all the faculties we require for good health and personal well being. Gentle Morning Yoga: 
For those wanting emphasis on stress reduction or health recovery, this is a gentle practice that explores the different poses as they work in your individual body.
Have you been encouraged to try yoga to reduces stress, improve flexibility or help with chronic pain and yet find the typical yoga class intimidating?  Pilgrim your search is over.  This class was designed with you in mind.  As a former physical education teacher and RYT 500, I have the training and knowledge to help you find the yoga that works for you.
Join us on Thursday mornings as we explore the wisdom of yoga.

Gentle + Yin: Experience the inner peace that yoga can bring!  Join us for a gentle yoga class that includes exercises for strength and flexibility, as well as breathing and meditation.  Multiple yoga traditions will be drawn on, including Yin Yoga, which focuses on releasing tight connective tissue and enriching the spirit.  Modifications will be included for almost any level.

Meditation: Change your life with meditation!  Learning to calm the mind brings a sense of peace and stability to your spirit.  We will cover breathing (pranayama), concentration, and meditation exercises.

Restorative Yoga: A therapeutic style of yoga utilizing props to make it easier for the body to hold poses, providing a completely supportive environment for total relaxation.  This practice will soothe your nervous system, help quiet your mind and invite you to release deeply held tension.  No yoga experience necessary.

Yoga Nidra:
Also known as yogic sleep—is a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation.  No yoga experience necessary.

Serenity Yoga: Yoga to restore peace within you so that you may spread peace to others. Suitable for beginners.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga:  Focus is on linking the breath with each movement. Students will begin with concentration, meditation, and breath work. We will then move into physical postures as a moving meditation. Each class is designed to promote body awareness, strength, flexibility, and balance. Aromatherapy and gentle massage during deep relaxation will allow students to feel refreshed and peaceful after class. Previous yoga experience recommended.

Wind-Down Yoga: Get ready for a good night's sleep with this relaxing yoga class.  We'll start with centering and some exercises to warm up, then move to floor stretches and finally relaxation exercises and a deep savasana (rest). Ahhhhhh!

Yoga Fundamentals:  Suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners in general good health, wanting an emphasis on overall flexibility, strengthening the major muscle groups, and learning/practicing basic yoga poses.  Each class concludes with deep relaxation.
